This year, Verre Binding is organizing a series of atmospheric living room concerts on the COA boats on the Rijnkade. Intimate concerts with musicians from here and far, where you can relax to sounds from all over the world.
On April 9 , a living room concert will take place at the Arena, with a special musical act. Yazan, Pari and Awn take us on a musical journey from the lounge of the Arena ship.

On April 1, Hamid Reza Behzadian will take you on a musical journey through Persia from the lounge of the Fortuna ship.

Biborder
Hamid is a crossover musician with Iranian roots. In his hometown of Tehran, he immersed himself in early blues on slide guitar and harmonica, developing his own, typical Persian blues sound. In the Netherlands he graduated from the conservatory in Indian classical music on Indian slide guitar. Under the name Biborder, he surprisingly combines influences from Persian music with Indian ragas and Delta blues during his performances — a unique musical experience that you don’t want to miss.

Attention for each other
In recent months, the group has experimented with languageless interaction and human connection under the guidance of theater maker Marene van Holk . Because really looking at each other, really listening — we rarely do that. As a result, we miss out on valuable interactions, opportunities to enrich ourselves or be comforted by someone’s story, or to share what we carry with us.
By exchanging theatre and sports exercises, cooking skills, knowledge and stories, the group discovered how much they can mean to each other. Now the close-knit group feels the urgency to share the energy, warmth and comfort they have discovered in each other with an audience.
But in order to experience this, this audience has to take lessons. You get educated, you get the chance to participate, you learn a new language and if you do well enough … Then you might be allowed to stay.
The performance
On Saturday, April 5, the Nieuwe Arnhemse Meisjes invite you to the Town Hall of Arnhem. The doors open at 18.45 and the performance starts at 19.00. During the performance we eat together.
