Join the Vrijplaats in Rozet from January 22 to March 26. We offer an open and inspiring space where creativity knows no bounds. Whether you’re an experienced creator or just curious to try something new, this is your place to experiment, express yourself, and meet others.
What you can expect:
- Freedom to make your way, at your pace
- Workshops and techniques from guest artists and professionals
- Meet Arnhemmers near and far – a diverse and welcoming community
- All materials are provided – all you have to do is bring yourself!
Every meeting is slightly different. Creative guests regularly join us to share their techniques – from painting and illustration to collage, textiles and more. You can join a workshop, or just do your own thing in a cozy and shared environment.
The free space is a collaboration between Collectief Koppig, Carolien Evers, Ruimtekoers, and CONNECT Arnhem, with the goal of creating a place for creative expression, meeting, and connection.

Tell your story with a song
During these workshops, you will work in a small group on your own song in a musical style of your choice. Inspired by your favorite artists, you will learn about vocal technique, the connection between emotion and voice, performing, and telling your own story through an existing song. These workshops are open to beginners, but you are also welcome if you have singing experience.
No registration required; just drop by the Auditorium on the 5th floor of Rozet

During the workshop, you will receive step-by-step assignments to film yourself, with personal guidance and group feedback sessions. We will practice together with short scenes and learn from each other’s work.
A key goal is for every participant to create their own one-minute film by the end of the workshop, from concept to final edit. Ideal for anyone who wants to learn creative visual storytelling, regardless of experience.
