This special evening focuses on Giovanca and her love for music. She talks about what music means to her and how it gives meaning to her life, even as a religious person. With Phion conducted by Rolf Verbeek, she also shows the music she cherishes. One of those works is an instrumental selection that Gershwin compiled from Porgy and Bess. Especially for Verre binding, Musis & Stadstheater and the platform for connection Buddy to Buddy are organizing a supporting program, in which Arnhemmers from here and residents or former residents of Arnhem asylum seekers’ centers meet and exchange each other, and then experience the performance together. After the performance, there is also room for further exchange.
