Verre binding Cultural festival: feel what connects us!
At the Verre binding Cultural Festival, we welcome all of Arnhem’s residents, from near and far, to a magical winter day filled with inspiring stories, live music, films, dance, creative workshops and even an ice-skating rink!
Over the past year, people living in Arnhem’s asylum reception centres and local artists have been coming together. They listened to music, curated films and created art side by side. Along the way, they made space for connection, exchange and meaningful encounters. Now, they are joining forces with us to organise the Verre Binding Cultural Festival. Will you be part of it?
Making space for real encounters
By coming together, they did something powerful: they moved beyond the usual talk-show conversations and created space for genuine encounters. They shared stories, exchanged experiences and made new memories together. They discovered the things that connect us. Now, it’s time to share those stories and experiences with the whole city.
Save the date: 27 November!
On 27 November, Ruimtekoers, together with the Verre Binding community, artists, musicians and filmmakers, will open the doors of Focus Filmtheater. We invite everyone in Arnhem, from near and far, to join us for a special winter day filled with stories, music, films, dance and creative workshops. And yes, there will even be an ice-skating rink! Come and meet, discover, create and share. Feel what connects us.
Be inspired by what connects us
Come and discover, experience and celebrate what brings us together. Be inspired by what can emerge when we take the time to look at the world together. And, above all, come and feel what connects us.
This is the fifth cultural festival organised by the Arnhem community Verre Binding. Verre Binding is an initiative of the Municipality of Arnhem and Bureau Ruimtekoers. For this year’s festival, Feel What Connects Us, we are working closely with Focus Filmtheater and the COA.
