What is there to experience:
Workshops for children and parents
There is plenty to do and experience for all ages. From 16:00 all children from here and far can come and make creative and play with the award-winning Collective Koppig from Presikhaaf.
Movies, food and drinks
You can come and enjoy the Lebanese film ‘Caramel’ and the Syrian film ‘Two Days’, both carefully selected by the Verre Binding film council. In the tea house we make room for sharing stories and serve snacks and drinks from the Vitanos Foundation.
Created and presented
togetherIn recent months, Arnhem makers Mirte Engelhard, Feilin Han, Merel Jansen and Rakesh Hanoeman have made various art installations together with asylum seekers’ centre residents that they are exhibiting. Let your creativity run wild and continue to build the artworks together with the makers.
Theatrical talk show
At 19.30, host Georgios Lazakis will take the audience on a dazzling show full of live performances, theatre and fashion made for and by asylum seekers.
Spectacular ending
Finally, we transform room 2 into a dance floor, where DJ MaHerrie teaches us the intricacies of dabke dancing. Will you keep dancing until the end?
